Overheat protection: ELITE 9 operates at temperatures ranging from -20°C (-4°F) to +65°C (149°F). If the ambient temperature reaches 75°C (167°F), it shuts down to protect itself. When down to 65°C, it turns back on.

Pre-impact recording: in both modes, the dash cam also records buffered Event clips in case of impact.
